How BYFSN Site Works

Reviewing the definition of  Word-of-mouth is useful in helping to understand how our site works. According to the Wikipedia, here are some definitions:

  • “Word of mouth, is a reference to the passing of information by verbal means, especially recommendations, but also general information, in an informal, person-to-person manner”
  • “An informal means of promoting a product from one person to another”
  • “Informal way in which media products become known by audiences”
  • “The process of promoting or marketing through human interaction. Customers share their opinions creating buzz …”
  • “Advertising generated by satisfied or interested readers who tell others …”

Because of the personal nature of the communications between individuals, it is believed that product information communicated by means of Word-of-mouth has an added layer of credibility.

Our site uses internet techniques, such as Web 2.0 and Viral Marketing methods in order to promote and manage Word-of-mouth communications to achieve desired behavioral response.

We believe that with the increasing use of the internet as a research and communication platform, Word-of-mouth has become an even more powerful and useful resource for consumers and marketers.

BYFSN stands for

BYFSN has been designed to provide that powerful and useful resource for you to benefit from, while at the same time to reduce the learning curve and to eliminate the hard work involved in designing, implementing, and coding the software.

BYFSN is an affiliate site in the sense that the new ones joining will be linked to you. However, there will be no cash rewards, but instead, the reward will be presented through the personalization that the site provides, which will result into new sign-ups to the program(s) being promoted by the site.

Personalization :
Once you get registered, the personalization occurs automatically throughout the site.

Program(s) :
The current version of the site features two programs; you can promote one, the other, or both. Coming up version(s) will allow for promoting any program.

What & How-To :
The Resources and Tools pages provide the necessary education and “how-to” guidance on how to implement each technique.

Viral marketing refers to the use of self-replicating processes, analogous to the spread of pathological and computer viruses to produce increasing awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives, such as product/service sales.

Web 2.0 refers to the second generation of web development and design. The concepts have led to the evolution of web-based communities, hosted services, and applications. Typical examples are social networking sites, wikis, blogs, video-sharing sites, etc.

How to Use Your BYFSN Site

To start right, do these three things below:

1 -  Update your profile and be sure that you have your program(s) ID(s) correctly configured. Test out the links to verify that the personalization is correctly in place.

2 -  Learn the Techniques by reading the Resource page. Check out the Tools page to see how each technique can be used.

3 -  Start Spreading-the-word by utilizing the “Tell-A-Friend” tool found in the Tools page of our site. This will email your affiliate link to your contacts; when they register with BYFSN site, they will be linked to you.

The resulting benefit of applying the three points above is that when they join any of the promoted program(s) they will be joining under you.

In addition, what would happen when they themselves start to implement the three points above?

Beta Tests Started
